I have been running Mandrake 9.1 on a Medion 5275 with great success, with the exception of PCMCIA services.

I can't seem to get *anything* out of that hardware. I put in 2 different cards (Linksys wpc11 and Orinoco silver) and I get no beeps, no lights, no thing.

Cardbus services is listed in the configuration screens, and I have installed the latest linux-wlan update and followed the instructions to configure.

All to no avail.

I have also gone into the BIOS to turn off "PNP OS", but there isn't a setting for that (the BIOS is *very* sparse on this box).

I'm not sure if this is Medion-specific, or just me being a butthead. Advice is welcome.
