whenever i try to run an app that uses the PCMCIA slot i get the following error:
"Required PC Memory Window (D0000) may
not be available. If this is the case CARD OPERATIONS will not work"."
im using an acer extensa 4620Z running win xp pro sp2 with 1gb memory

do you guys have any idea how to correct this?
need help asap guys thanks

Have you checked for any Bios setting that might be relevant or any Bios update that might be available?

Have you contacted the Card manufacturer or Computer manufacturer for any assistance?

I did see this link on a German language site discussing that error message so it may or may not be relevant.

Manual Memory Window Allocation

im using this on a laptop so there really isnt any bios settings to change, any other ideas?

What is your app? Memory Window issues are common place on PCMCIA apps. Most apps have documented fixes.

the app is called Ricoh Memory Card Explorer, it is used to update firmware on copy machines.
