PCMCIA AUTODETECT PROBLEM

I have several old laptops that I need to get PCMCIA network card in but each one doesn't detect the network cards, but they do detect the modem's. This happens with both Win 95 and Win 98. I have Win 98 on them now. I am guessing that it has to do with none of them have the CardBus as a PCMCIA driver. Any suggestion as how I can make them useable.

CardBus is a newer standard for laptops. Your old ones probably won't except CardBus devices (if that's what you're using).
