PCL3GUI features

Hi everyone!
Does anyone know, how PCL3GUI differs from the usual PCL3?
At least basically?
I have searched everywhere in Internet, but did not found
anything similar to PCL3GUI Technical Reference or at least "Command
Set" list.
As far as I understand, PCL3GUI is for bitmap description only -
but are there any differences to a usual PCL Bitmap format -
may in compression methods, bitmap headers or something else...
They say, that PCL3GUI is an extended PCL3 - but what
this extension is about?
I would be very grateful for any hints!

PCL3GUI is used on HP PHOTOSMART and some DESKJET drivers. The big difference is mode 10 compression of images. This is line by line compares with the ability to jink left and right a few pixels.

might help. They can read PCL3GUI and write out anything from PCL, PDF to AFP.

Also - The CUPS DDK has a driver for PCL3GUI that will give you a few clues
