PCL XL error 2

Hello,

Each time I print from ms office, I am an extra page with the following error;

PCL XL error
Warning: IllegalMediaSource

I have an XP machine printing to a networked HP laserjet 4050 which is shared on a Windows 2003 server.

The warning message indicates that the job specifies taking paper from a source (paper tray) which has not been configured on the device, or (maybe) that the paper size loaded in the selected tray is not the size requested.

Check how the device is configured in the driver (what options are selected), and whether this matches the actual device capabilities.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, the user actually had the printer settings pointing an at unknown tray in ms office setup. Thanks again.
