PCL XL Error USERSTREAM

We have recently upgraded our windows 98 machines to windows xp. all connected to windows 2000 server.

We have Laserjet 4000 and Laserjet 2300 printers connected by HP JetDirect Boxes.

Since the upgrade we are getting random PCL XL Errors.

The most recent error:

PCL XL Error
Subsystem: USERSTREAM
Error: MissingData
Operator: ReadFontHeader
Position: 21

Any suggestions please.
