I am looking for a way to call a PCL Macro using Microsoft Access.

In Word I can use Insert --> Field . Select 'Document Automation', Print and use the command 0x1b"&y898f4X" and the macro will run correctly when printed.

However, I can't seem to find a way to do this in an Access report as it doesn't look like I can make the print command the first thing that runs. Does anyone know of a command in VBA or another way in Access to run this macro?

Thanks!

Hi SMChemung,

What you've described doing has nothing to do with macros. Rather, you're using field coding - specifically, a PRINT field. Not being familiar with the PCL commands, perhaps you could explain what it is the field code is supposed to achieve? That may well be amenable to an Access vba solution.

Cheers
