I'm trying to use PCL commands inside the PRINT field of Word, specifically to bring on the duplex feature in a middle of a document.

So far, nothing has been working. Any PCL command that will show me some result on the printed sheet would at least help me get on the right track.

It seems to me that I probably don't enter the Esc sequence in a manner that the PRINT field understands....

Anyone knowing how to do that ????

You cannot enable duplex in the middle of a page. Duplex is one of several commands that work only at the beginning of a page, before any printable text.

But, Word print fields are processed at the beginning of the job, so this should work, right?

However, the printer driver will send some initial setup commands, including duplex.

Try printing to a file and examine the outout.
