I am trying to re-use old'ish hardware for a server build on a proliant 5500 but am not sure if I'm going aboout this the right way.
I've got a new PCI usb card to make use of a Linksys usb wireless network device which works on windows 2003 server (pc based) but am having problems getting it to work on the proliant.
It keeps installing the card as an Intel device even though the Belkin device drivers install ok.
I receive error code 10.
I've checked compaq and HP but can't find a solution to get this card to work and wonder whether to just rely on the cross-over to other networked machine connection?

Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Make sure the PL5500 has the latest RomPaq for Windows 2003 server. If that doesn't resolve the problem, then you are probably flogging a dead horse.
