Upon bootup I get a message reference looking for a "PCI Mass Storage Controller" driver. I have tried every disk with drivers that I can think of to try and find the right driver to eleminate this message. Anybody know where/what this means?

You've probably got a RAID controller on your motherboard. You should have a floppy with the driver on it, if not, you can get it from the manufacturer's website.

If you have any difficulties, post your mobo make and model, and operating system, and we'll find it for you.

If you've tried all the disks you've got, then possibly you don't have a driver for your specific O/S. Older disks may not, for example, contain ME or XP drivers.

Possibly the driver is in a subfolder on the disk, as is the case with Highpoint RAID controllers.
