Have a strange one I hope you guys can help us with.
A - (2) unused X3550 servers (Avaya S8800 CM6) each W/ Dual NIC daughter cards & the IBM special retainer clip installed.
B - Running Avaya Comm Mgr 6.3 SW w/ SW duplication over Ethernet.
C - In our lab - these servers loaded the CM6.3 SW without issue and we connected them over Ethernet and they ran fine overnight - iLO no alarms.
D - Shipped them to customer and the onsite Avaya techs installed them ... and they both immediately get PCI alarms on the front light path Diags display - see attached pic.
E - The PCI 2:6 alarm isn't service interrupting (at this time) on these two servers and they have been running fine for over two weeks.
F - IBM docs show to remove the PCI riser and see if that doesn't fix it. There aren't any PCI components connected to the PCI riser??
Customer wants the alarms to go away.
Any ideas as to what is causing the alarm (beyond IBM's explanation in the Light Path Diag LEDs manual) and is there a possible way to disable this PCI alarm on the servers?
Thanks
