I want to get information about pcb(process control block) of HPUX as soon as possible.(that's my homework and I could not find any inf. in books or on the net...so please help!)

There's a book you might find useful -- "The Design of the UNIX Operating System"

I'd be surprised if there were any public information on PCB's specifically in HPUX. HPUX is not an opensource operating system.... There is, however, quite a bit available on UNIX in general.

A search in for "process control block" produces quite a few hits.

Those should give you a start, esp the second one. Please be sure to correctly attribute any material you use.
