I have seen that before. Try a different version if possible or make sure the host computer's video isn't compatible with the remote users. Can't remember which fixed my situation with the blank screen. I think it had to do with version 11.
version 10.5 on remote side with virsion 11.5 on the host....and I got it working from my office as the remote with 11.0 but I cant get it to work from the 10.5 side....
