pcAnyWhere - strange keyboard response

Sometimes when I am connected to a host pc I do not get the 'normal' response to keyboard presses, but sometimes I get menu activation. If I double-click an icon on the host desktop, instead of opening the associated application, I get the properties sheet instead (as if I had pressed alt+enter). It's as if the 'alt' key is permantently pressed, but it isn't.

Has anyone any idea what may be going on here? I am using Win98 and pcAW 9.2 on the host pc, and XP Pro with pcAW 10.0 on the remote pc.

Any help would be appreciated.
