I'm in a small office with only 5 computers, so i'm using the server for day to day data entry and other activities. I have managed to setup pcanywhere 11.0 on this server as a host behind my smc router without much difficulty. However, I don't like the fact that the remote control feature gives remote user the ability to see my desktop. Getting a different computer on lan to host pcanywhere not an option. any suggestions..

Also, I have heard a lot about vpn. I tried setting it up without success. can't connect. I have a static ip address. I assume I need to setup the port forwarding, to make this work. What port do I use for vpn services.

thanx
