I have recently become the administrator of a Dell PowerEdge 2500 server, running the Windows 2000 Server O/S and IIS 5.0 for our website. Several of us work on this server remotely using PCAnywhere. Several months ago I installed PCA and rebooted the server. PCA worked fine until I had to reboot the server again recently, but since then we cannot access it with PCA. I have tried to reset the password and a few other things to no avail. Does anyone have suggestions for me to get PCA running again?

Thanks.

Is the PCAnywhere host service running? What happens when you stop/restart it? Also it could be host session might be corrupted. Try deleting the host session/re-creating it and then restart the host service.
Hope this helps.

You'll want to post this is a PCAnywhere forum - it's not an OS issue.

Regardless, I wouldn't use PCA on a server regardless. RDP does a good job, as does TightVNC.
