We have a client who uses pcAnywhere V10.5 to transfer data from Hairdressing salons to a central Head Office. The Hairdressing Salons all wait as a pcAnywhere host - the Head Office runs as a Remote and has a tick in "Run the AutoTransfer upon connection".
When the Head Office connects to the salons we see the salon's desktop and the File Transfer icon is disabled. However, there is no sign of the File Transfer taking place (normally we would expect to see a progress screen for the File Transfer).
Can anyone suggest what may be wrong - we have used this approach successfully elsewhere. However, this maybe the first time that we have tried this stuff on a Windows XP System with Service Pack 2 (in case this is relevant).
