PCANYWHERE DYNAMIC IP

Hi all,

I am trying to establish a connection with a host who is using dynamic ip address. Using DynIP software, I’ve established a static IP address for the host. There are no firewalls, no anti-virus, etc. running on the windows 2000 host machine. When making a connection, I am getting the following error message:
“Unable to attach to specified device pc anywhere”

Any tips on resolving this matter would be much appreciated!
