I try to add a rule to get my PCANYWHERE to work in a local network. I have port 5631 and 5632 as TCP and UDP. I don't get any popups but just a failure in connection from the remote computer. I have tried any adress but it doesn't work neither.

Any help would be appreciated!

What "mode" is PCAnywhere in ie.Network/Modem ?
Also is this all internal and not over the Internet.

Its internal over a lan. I am, after the antivirus install, not able to ping that computername. I don't know if that has something to do with NetBIOS blockings?!

I have a home computer with a firewall using PC Anywhere to connect to the office computer. The office network is protected by a firewall and Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition. The home PC is used ONLY to connect to the office PC through PC Anywhere. Is it necessary to have a separate antivirus program loaded on the home PC?
