I have a host set up to take dial-up calls for tech support. The host is running as a service, and the icon shows "waiting" in the system tray.

I can connect, and remotely administer the pc. Occasionally, I'll connect fine, and then later it won't take my call. When I get to the pc, the icon is still showing "waiting" in the system tray.

If I stop the pcanywhere host, and restart it, I can connect. There are no errors on screen, or in Event Viewer.

It is PCAnywhere 10.5 on Windows 2000. Any help would be appreciated.

I've had the same prob on (win 2k) tcpip pca host 9.2, and pca 10.5 remote (win2K), nothin on symantec's website
I'll update here if I find something !

Sorry, I forgot to post an update. A person handling the phone system used my line on one of his modems. It has since been cut.
