Having a problem with an expandable menu bar on a new system. At the actual PC, you can see the menu. Remotely, either dial-up or TCP/IP, you can't see the menu. It is there, because if you know where to click you can select things. What could be the cause? OS is XP Pro SP3. Thanks!!

I've noticed this with the VNC client with Gbridge as well. It seems like it happens that way if the item is more "active" than most windows/areas of the screen. For instance, I've seen a whole program that would not show up remotely with VNC whereas it would with Windows Remote Desktop.

As to a fix, I'm cluess, but wish there were some easy way around it.

Turns out the problem is that pcAnywhere doesn't seem to allow disabling alpha blending, like many other remote connection software does. I've even upgraded to version 12.5 SP2 but still having the problem. Symantec won't even talk to me about it, and no one has answered on the Symantec forum, so I'm in a bit of a pickle. I'd change to other software but I need the dial-up functionality.

Thanks for posting the results you've gotten so far. I'll have to look at that myself on Gbridge and see if that's the issue with it..
