I have a 2 yrs old AMD box running at 1Ghz with 512MB. I haven't changed whole lot on it. Only thing I changed was OS which is XP now from Windows2000. Whenever I Power on the system, I see cpu fans turns on, power supply fan on and couple other activities leds on. I don't see anything on my monitor. After 5-7 minutes I hear clicks from the box, (mainly from hard drive) and at the same time keyboard leds, mouse light blinks. I usually turn the power off and try to reboot the pc. I also took dvd drive off in case there was overcurrent or voltage realated problem. Its was not helping. After 4-5 power on and off from power supply or 10 minutes playing with on and off switch then OS comes up. I Diagnos the harddrive from western digital website which ran fine. This started to happen about 2 weeks ago. Does any one have any suggestion?. Once the system comes up, I do see all the hardware in my system.

I tried different Power supply that didn't work. I also tried different load source no help there. I took off dvd, cdrw and floppy drive and that didn't work. I can't think of anything else to do with it. Any comments and concerns are welcome.
