Hello,

I'm trying to help a friend who inadvertently deleted files from her C drive.

I was thinking of inserting a Windows 95 Boot disk. I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.

Any suggestions are very much appreciated

Thanks

If it won't boot into windows gui then a boot disk would work. Do we know what files were deleted???

Hello dball63,

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, she doesnt remember what files were deleted.

Don't exactly remember the error but something like this:

C: "HD secondary files missing"

although she doesn't have any disk on the A: drive but she gets this other error as if theres a disk on the A: drive.

Again thanks for the feedback :)
