Some of the pages of my website, which I developed with Dreamweaver 4.0 on a Win2000 machine don't display properly (i.e. they show as gibberish) using MS Internet Explorer 5 on a Macintosh. Everything displays perfectly using Internet Explorer on Windows, and everything is also fine using Netscape on the Mac.
The pages in question display properly on the Mac ONLY if I move them to my remote site via an FTP utility (WS_FTP Pro), with the transfer mode set to ASCII. If I let Dreamweaver do the transfer, via its synchronize option, the problem persists, even though ASCII mode is set for HTM and HTML file types in the "FTPExtensionMap.txt" file in Dreamweaver's Configuration folder.
Can anyone help with this?
