PC To V120 Sunfire Help - desperate!

Hello Folks!

I am trying to connect to my new SunFire V120 from WIN98SE thro' RJ45 patch cable to 9 pin serial port on my PC for the first time. I am using hyperterminal with 9600/8/N/1/VT100 combination. After I connect the cables, it appears as if the hyperterminal just hangs....I cannot put in any keyboard entries also....!

According to instructions....I am supposed to get "lom" (remote management software) prompt

The instructions in the manual is for Laptop...but I figured should not be ay different for PC. Any comments or help would be greatly appreciated!!! Pleeeease help!

Hello Folks!

Wanted to thank the folks who may have taken
the time to read my query! My serial adapter
was messed up. I bought another one, cross
checked the combination (Rj45 to DB). I
am connected from my PC to V120.
