Hi folks,

I created a web site using Dreamweaver. I copied it onto a CD (using NTI CD Maker) so that my Mac using colleagues could view it on their own.

In both Macs, a number of the images did not appear. The images references are all relative, as far as I can tell.

Can't understand only some images are unavailable. There does not seem to be a clear pattern (i.e some images showing up and others not).

Any thoughts?

Thanks!!

I'm not a Mac user but.... can your machine read the images from the CD? If so, do you see all the images? If not, are the images in a standard image format (jpg or gif)? Maybe your colleagues don't have the same graphic abilities that you do? If you can't read directly from the CD, then copy the CD to a seperate folder on your machine and try to read it from there. I've experienced this only once where I had a graphic artist do some work for me and I couldn't read his CD, nor could he read a CD I burned! Go figure....

Hope this helps somehow. There's always a better way...

Hi,

You say 'both macs' so the tests may be not large in number, did you take the CD to a Win or Linux and did the images then appear?

If they do not you can stop worrying about MACs.
