Hi all:
We have a little network to provide internet trhough a Red hat server which receives the connection from a clear channel link from a radio antenna. The client machines have windows 2000 professional. Two weeks ago we added a second network card to one of these clients, so we could work with 2 ips (to connect to an external ip from internet), and at first it worked fine, but after 5 or 7 days it slowed down the network, if we ping to internet it takes like 3000 ms!!!
When we turned off this machine, the network goes back to normal. So, we took off the additional network card, and formated the machine, but everytime we turned it on, it would slow down the conection to internet, we changed the machine, the cable, the port which was used, we also restarted the switch, hub and server, and same thing happens. So everytime the computer is turned on the same problem arises.
Can someone help? We have run out of ideas.
Thanks in advance.
