Hi All,
It was recently suggested on one of these forums that I upgrade from NEC MAT to PC Pro for management of a NEAX 2400 IPX w/SV7000 processor. I've been informed, however, that the application we have is "PC PRO" even though it isn't named that. The application is installed under IMXMAT and when I go to Help-->About MAT Menu I get the following info.:
MAT Version R21 3.03
Build Number 2006/12/12
Just trying to verify whether I actually already have the PC Pro software or not...
Thanks,
Dave.

To my knowledge Mat and PCPro are two distinctly different packages! I stand to be corrected!

PC PRO was released with the SV8500 and is backwards comapatible to R12. IMXMAT started with the IMX and is used for 2400IPX and SV7000. Unless you are having issues there is nothing to gain. Some of the first releases of IMXMAT had issues generating the listups with crystal reports but that was years ago. Generally speaking with your switch running on REV 21 and your Mat software is R21 or newer you are fine.
