Dear ALL,

!!This is A Windows 2000 Domain with Mac and PC servers..
We have PC Users on PC MAC LAN .( Only because Alot of our Files/ Folders have weird characters, like bullets and etc..)
When they try to connect to Apple Share Servers thru PC Mac LAn it gives "Unable to log on" message... but when I go thru the Chooser on a Mac with the same user it works fine..

Any Ideas?

If users on PC's want to connect Macintosh computer, they can use Miramar AppleTalk Network ( My Network Places) to choose a computer they want to connect to.

If it does not work, check if:
Only latin chars are used when providing Name and Password. I'm afraid, any çå?ßé¬ etc chars could be a miss.
User permissions set onto Mac's grants another users to connect the PC's

Wrong configuration of AppleTalk Protocol

Old version of MacLan

Hope, it'll help
