PC Console error codes

Error codes 137, 133, 138.
All these errors mean the same thing that PC Console operations is not talking to the switch through the phone. If this is a new install and has never worked then it is probably the wrong COM port; bad cable or another application is using the same port. Stop all other applications replace the cable with a standard modem cable and try again.
If the system has been up and running for some time and all of a sudden this error shows up re-sit all the connections (modem cable, phone lines, transformer). Then re-boot the PC and try Operations again.
Still a problem check that they have not loaded any application that will be using a COM port because there maybe a conflict with the port.
For your information error 137 means cannot talk to the phone, 133 means cannot talk to the port, 138 means it does not know the port.
But anyone of these errors will cause a cascading effect and you cannot really count on which one it really is
