ok affraid my pc skills are amazingly rusty and this isnt the kind of issue that i would normally do but i was curious.

user has a xp pc and logs in to a 2000 server (single server in the domain). very basic login script - maps two drives. if she logs in - she doesnt get the drives - if you then try to connect to \\server\netlogon it will prompt for username and pwd
enter her details and it maps

so kinda think cached credentials or something so if you change her pwd from aduc and login - she can login to domain ok but still no drives

login as another user on pc and it is fine it maps

any thoughts - login on a different pc to see if it's pc based? what else - i popped pc in and out of domain - just the same - no obviuos errors

unfortuantely pc and server miles from me as well -

Hi,

I think the easiest test will be for the user who is suffering the problem to log onto another machine and see if the same occurs?

Let us know what happens!

Could delete the users profile, but after you backup their info. Once deleted have them log back in to see if this fixes the issue.
