I am trying to install the PCCharge client vs 5.64. I have tried the CD that was sent to me from Best, and also downloading the current version from the BOSS site. I get this same error either way.

"Component'vsview32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered; a file is missing or invalid"

This ocx file does exist on the users computer. I tried manually registering it- then I get a loadlibrary error. I tried copying that file from another computer onto that computer and registering it- same error.

It will let you proceed to setup the client after this error, but if you try to print or view reports then it says "run time error 429- activex component can't create object" ad closes the program.

This computer has already been cleaned and rebuilt. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Sunny

Runtime Error 339: Component dzocx32.ocx is not correctly registered or file is missing." Occurs when generating a report
I hope this helps!

Cause

The file dzocx32.ocx must have dzip32.dll in the same directory.

Work Around / Fix

Copy the dzip32.dll from another workstation or contact FRx for the file. For Windows 95 and Windows 98 workstations, the files belong in c:\windows\system. For Windows NT and Windows 2000 workstations, the files belong in c:\winnt\system32.

Thnks in advance to all users out there who continually answer all of our questions. Although I try to answer some questions, I usually am asking.

Thanks Omni. We don't have either of those files installed on any computer successfully running PC Charge. Do you know if those files are specific to FRx?

Where did you find this information? I would like to consult the same resource if possible. Maybe there is a different file that is required with vsview32.ocx.

THANKS!!!

Sunny

It is from BOSS the Best software online support website.
