Does anyone know how to get PC Anywhere to work with Windows XP Home edition? Is there a tutorial site that could walk me through the config? When I try to launch a host session, I get a message box that says the service is already running. However, I cannot make any connections witht the remote computer. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if this is your issue but XP (both home and pro) install a software firewall. That could block any PC Anywhere connections. you may have to disable the firewall, or search for a way to open ports on it.

Hope this helps.

Not sure what version you are using but I have seen problems on anything but the newest V10. Also make sure you have run the live update (pcAny) and Windows update.
