What standard features come with a 2x4 and 2x10 PC VM card for R3 thru R6?

If you are refering to the Partner Voice Messaging PC card, there is an R1.0 through R3.0.

This link to metrolinedirect's listing for the PVM seems to list the features quite nicely.

John Shelton did an excellent overview of the Partner system as a whole (up to the R6). Here is the link to his document:

Thank you. However it does not say if the caller can enter an extension number i.e. ext-25 as well as a dept. selector code i.e. 1 for billing 2 for sales.

Is it only one or the other?

I have a PVM card installed in the Partner ACS system in my house. The way I have this set up is 1 for ext 10, 2 for ext 11 etc. I think you can direct dial an extension if the selector codes are set up correctly, but I would have to check on the programming tonight to be 100% sure.

The programming guide for the PVM is below. I can't check it now, but it may explain what the selector code options are.

You can have both selector codes and direct extension transfer at the same time, but the selector codes cannot conflict with the 1st digit of the extension numbers.

The extension numbers are fixed in the hardware modules, starting at 10 and going up from there.

So, you can have "dial the extension number now, or press 3 for billing....." assuming your extensions range from 10 to no higher than 29. If your extensions range into the 30's, then you must start your selector codes with 4.

Leave room for future expansion!!
