Hi group,
I have a little problem with some call FWD actions that I am trying to perform.
Overview:
I have 2 sites that reside on different PBXs and their own CP mail system (V4). The Nortel PBXs (81C & 61C) are linked via T1 which allows 4 digit dialing.

Problem:
When user at site A is away, phone is FWD to site B. If phone is not answered at site B, the CP from site A picks up and says that there is no account for user at site A (which is not true). I have tried various combinations of the following:
Call Fwd Ext = Allow
2nd level call fwd = Allow
Call FWD via 4 digits & 10 digit both tested

Any help appreciated!
Dan.

when it comes back to site A to hit VM, what is it coming back with?

is this going thru a telco? Where you call one number, it fowards to another and picks up the CLID? If so, call the Telco and have them say No to the SIG DATA prompt

you need to network your 2 cp's.. once you do that, all will be fixed.. unless you network the two, you would need a mb in each for every station.. i wouldn't want to try to explain that to an enduser..
