PB crash when calling datawindow update via Stored Procedure??PB 11.5-12-12.5 and

i am trying to update a datawindow via stored procedure update.

The stored has no input or output parameter.

When i call the update method, pb crashes.

any idea?

i am using pb 11.5 (also tried 12-12.5 ) and sqlserver 2012 sp1

Is there any information provided when the crash occurs?
Like error numbers, text, etc..

Can you please post the PowerBuilder code where you execute the Stored Procedure?

1- No i don't run a datbase trace - i did not use it befor - i will try to do it

Hi mbalent
I run database trace with following events

Exception under Errors and Warnings
RPC: Completed under Stored Procedures
RPC: Starting under Stored Procedures
SQL: BatchCompleted under TSQL
SQL: BatchStarting under TSQL
and I run my app
there are generated rows whwn i run mu pb app
also when i retrieve rows into dw there are more rows in db trace
now i edit one record (no more rows in trace)
then when i press button that had script dw_1.update()

powerbuilder crache with no rows in db trace

Hi powerbuilde,

Did you find a solution? We have similar issue...
We are trying to update a datawindow via stored procedure, not via update but insert.

The first insert always work. When we try to insert once again, PB crashes.

The stored proc has input parameters only (and it's probably not related).

We get to the SQLPreview, and it looks fine, but the store proc is not called (no trace in SQL Profiler).
