Migrating a 6.5 application to PB8.0.3. It uses a sybase database for it's main operation. However, it was programmed to use an access database for transferring data between the PC and a Pocket PC. The program works great under 6.5 but under 8.0.3 it tells me that "ODBC is not supported in your current installation". Any idea what is going on here? I've checked odbc drivers and the configuration and all looks good.
Thanks, Al

Are you getting this message while running from PB or as a stand alone app? If in PB check that the various drivers are installed under the database profiles.

Actually, it works under PB, it's the stand alone version that is not working. It is also on another machine that was used originally for 6.5 development.

Double check that all of the needed 8.0.3 pb runtime files (what was previously called the 'deployment kit') are installed on the machine. Also, pb8 distributed the Merant ODBC drivers, I'm not sure if these were the same as in PB6.5.
