Payroll Problem

Has anyone come across the following problem?
Macola Progression 7.6.300a SQL
Payroll Module:

The following error occurs when performing the Edit/Validation process/step.

"There are no company or employee records on the Master file."

Yet when you look at the employee master file there are records with populated fields.

I have seen this error related to W2's but not performing a payroll run.

Two payrolls have been run sucessfully in the month of January 2006 after closing year 2005.

I have tried to duplicate the error on another network/ machine but with no success.

The update directory has been run and the rebuild P/R files has been tried.

Any ideas?

When it come to payroll, I never mess around. I would go dirrectly to your reseller or exact.

Good advice NEmavGuy.
I did just that and it turned out to be a bad DLL.
Problem solved.
