Hello All,
We have an Avaya IPO500V2 (v 9.0.5) & a VM PRO server. Our integrated call center is Vuesion by BBX Technologies running on another server (connected via SIP to the Avaya IPO). At this point the VM PRO is only being used for voice mailboxes.
Our billing system is iCommVergence by CommSoft. We would like to have the option for our customers to make a payment via phone through some sort of IVR. Our billing system folks say they need to integrate via SOAP. Our call center folks say they do not support SOAP, and from what I can find the Avaya VM Pro does not support SOAP either.
Our billing system folks say another option is to build an Asterisk PBX for the payment via phone IVR and integrate into the billing system. We would route incoming payment calls to the Asterisk manually or via our current Auto Attendant.
Any of you folks out there doing something like this and can shed some light on other options? Possibly a way to use the VM PRO rather than go the Asterisk route. Surely the Avaya platform supports SOAP???
Thanks in advance.
