Pausing sound and presentation button

Hi,

I am new to this board and it is my first time posting. I am working on a training presentation that was created in director. I inherited this project so I am not completely familiar with all that was done on the project. What I want to do is create a navigation toolbar to use during playback of the projector. I want the toolbar to include a pause, play, next slide and previous slide buttons. How is the best way of doing this. I have played around with the next slide and previous slide button. I am comfortable with working with them. However the pause button is what I am very uncomfortable with. This presentation includes sound in 2 channels. I have not had any luck. Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you very much for your time and help.
