Pausing a batch file 1

This should be an easy question. Does anyone know how to pause a batch file for 10 seconds without user input to make the file continue after 10 seconds?

PING 1.1.1.1 -n 10 -w 1000 >NUL
will delay execution of the next command 10 seconds, provided 1.1.1.1 is not a valid IP address.

"Sleep" requires the Windows 2000 Resource Kit. It is not included in the Win2k Pro installation.
