I have my main movie (which has only script and attached sound);all my othe movies are loaded there.
I'm using attachSound method which exports it in the 1st frame which causes the first frame to hesitate. So, when I simulate download (56k modem) there is a blank screen for a while and it may look confusing for a user.
I do not have a preloader in my main movie (should I ?) but all the other movies have a preloader.
Is there a way to avoid this? And what are music preloaders?
Thanks.

This is the easiest workaround...

A new seperate preloader only movie, which will load your present movie, cleared of any preloader within itself...

Or if you only have 1 attached sound, and don't plan to use any components, and/or other attached movie clips and/or sounds in this main movie, you can uncheck the "export on the first frame" box (but leave the other one checked) on that sound's linkage, and simply drag a copy of that sound off-stage in unseen frames between your preloader and the actual starting frame of your movie...
But you'd definately need to add a preloader, so that something is visible on screen, while that sound downloads.
