Hi All,

I am looking for some feedback on these gateways. I am evaluating which one would be best.

Basiclly we will be using them as a PRI interface to our PBXs and the gateways will connect via SIP to ITSPs for least cost routing.

Just looking for some real world experience or horror stories. Both seem like good products and I am just unsure which one to go for.

Any advice is appreciated.

I've tried Patton SIP/BRI box.
At the beginning it's not easy to configure and to understand what they call "context".
CLI through telnet is a Cisco-like. Sometimes I've programmed features with CLI in order to see where it appears in the menu on the Web interface...
I've connected it with SIP on Asterisk and BRI directly coming from provider. Works great. As intended for us.

i've used quintum tenor AS for point to point trunking. the call quality is excellent and the units are reliable but it was hard to work with and to get tech support you had to buy warranty coverage.

Thanks for your feedback guys. I'm liking the Quintum product to be honest. I think that might be the winner for us.

I am implementing some Quintum VX gateways myself. Using them to handle my PRI to SIP conversions as well as getting the benefit of them being Microsoft OCS certified appliances for my OCS installation.
