Pattern Backups? 1

Hello

I was wondering if you can make a backup or save all your patterns without saving them single handedely? Because last night I opened too many windows while in photoshop and my computer froze and i had to restart and after i restarted photoshop had gone back to its default settings and over 80 of my patterns were gone?

Hi,

Goto EDIT > PRESET MANAGER then choose patterns from the dropdown, then click on one of those little thumbnails then hit Ctrl+A then on the right click Save Set and then you have your patterns saved.

As for your problem, once you lose your patterns like that you can't get them back, so if you are making alot of new patterns that a really worth while to you, you should make a habit of saving them often.

thanks once again it works great, and i think i will have to get into the habit of saving them because i think id have to smash something if it happened again
