I have an existing customer that insisted on administrating their own Avaya IP office 500v2. "Simple add/move/changes nothing to high level" they told us. So I authorize our staff to send them a copy of the Manager software (you see where this is going?) Anyways the customer's IP Office is version 8.1 the Manager software sent was 11.1. YES. without our knowledge said customer decides to upgrade their system. No. they did not follow migration PDLS pathway. So now they have a system requesting an license upgrade. Is it easier to roll back to 8.1 or upgrade license via PDLS and 11.1? If the upgrade is more feasible can our service tech complete the migration path on manager---- tools>license migration to grab the zip file extension after the system is upgraded to version 11.1?
