Hi guys,

I need a little help with paths in Illustrator. I'm trying to make a path from some pencil line art (cleaned in PS). Can you make paths from selections like you can in PS? I can't even see my marquee in Illustrator. I can't figure out how to make it viewable or if it even can be seen at all.

Basically, I'm really looking for some explination on how to fill a path made from some kind of magic wand selection in Illustrator. What I'm trying to do is get some nice lineart from clean pencil work. Is there a better way to do this than what I'm thinking? Can anyone here please help me out?

Thanks!
