Hi all,
I've create a recovery boot cd of my box (generic), sticking a copy of my /etc/path_to_inst file. Now, I've booted with my cd. The system is up but the mapping is wrong. I thought i could wipe the /dev | /device and recreate it with devfsadm. Since its a CD, /etc/path_to_inst is read-only, and I see the output telling me so. /dev link are back but the mapping is still wrong.
Q: What happen to /etc/path_to_inst ? How come devfsadm don't use it ?
Thanks
