Path Variables In VirusScan 7 Exclusions

I'm not sure if I'm using the right terms.

I'd like to make a custom VirusScan 7 install package with McAfee Installation Designer 7. I want to include some exclusions, but some users have W2K or WXP installed in C:\Windows, some have it in C:\WinNT.

Can I use a variable in the exclusion to cover both?
Like "%system%\system32\spool\*.*"

I've seen it somewhere for some other purpose, but I can't remember where, and my searches have come up blank.
