path to ring 3 phones

I have a customer who would like option 2 in the CCR tree to ring three phone THEN go to V.mail. I can set option 2 to ring a hunt group but the voice mail never picks up. The mail box extension has call forward set to v.mail and works fine when I change it to go only to that one extension. I have added the three phones plus v.mail in the hunt group.
Ideas.

Voice Mail ignores Hunt Groups.

Best to oveflow HG to the lead salesperson's DN.

Or you can create a mailbox with the same number as the HG, then Overflow would be the voice mails DN.

I don't remember seeing a HG overflow setting. What tell it to forward to the HG overflow? They insist on having all three phones ring then voicemail if possible.

No, just go to Overflow within you HG settings and tell it per what I stated abiove.
Overflow can go to a set, mailbox or another HG.
