Path to Image Files

I created a Folder within my project called images. when inserting images into my ASP app i set the image url = images/image.gif

all of them show up except for the company logo I am trying to add. it's just a gif file like the others..

can someone tell me where the best place to store pics is so I will not run into this problem again?

I know it has something to do with the path to the file but the path is no different from the rest of them that will show up..

any help would be appreciated
